Director of Technology Initiatives and User Experience. Responsible for directing LifeLong Medical Care’s strategic plans aimed to improve the user/customer experience with technology and data use. Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO), provide development of strategy and project management for user/customer centered technology initiatives to transform operations across LifeLong Medical Care health centers and administrative departments.

Benefits
Compensation: $110K - 120K/year. We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision (including dependent and domestic partner coverage), generous leave benefits including nine paid holidays, Flexible Spending Accounts, 403(b) retirement savings plan.
COVID-19 Vaccine Policy
In accordance with LifeLong Medical Care's commitment to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of known hazards, we have adopted a Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccine Policy to safeguard the health of our employees and their families; our patients and visitors; and the community at large from infectious diseases, that vaccinations may reduce. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining transformational, customer-centered improvement strategies for Technical Departments (ie Information Technology, Information Security, Health Information Technology and Data Analytics)
- Collaborate closely with Directors and Managers of Technical Departments to co-identify and co-lead operational customer-centered improvement initiatives across all of LifeLong.
- Provide Directors and Managers of Technical departments with project development process – needs assessment, research, goal and measures development, design, planning, teambuilding, resource allocation and timeline development, and support as needed.
- Collaborate closely with Administrative and Clinical Operations and key stakeholder groups on design and implementation and communication of Technology initiatives.
- Lead efforts to promote customer engagement with improvement initiatives – in facilitation, stakeholder communication, training and documentation.
- Interact and collaborate with vendors during projects.
- Manages projects through closing process, including transition planning, documentation, evaluation and reporting.
- Lead multiple complex cross-departmental projects with overlapping timelines.
- Analyze financial gains and losses of developing and current initiatives to assess sustainability and adjust resources as needed to ensure financial viability.
- Facilitate project teams in change management efforts throughout the entire cycle of the project as well as lead efforts to identify barriers and develop solutions.
- Advance data-driven approaches to planning and evaluation within all assigned projects.
- Hire, supervise, and evaluate administrative staff and program managers or leads as designated by the CMIO.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by CMIO.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, both qualitative and quantitative, including development and presentation of work plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Tableau, Epic or other data visualization/management software or EHR systems.
- Advanced ability in key competencies: critical thinking and problem-solving skills, planning and organizing, delegation, program design, documentation, proficient in technical nomenclature, and project management.
- Excellent Customer service skills.
- Excellent knowledge of change management principles.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality is required.
- Ability to organize information and prioritize workload is required.
- Demonstrated program planning experience with a focus on health equity highly desirable.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, fiscal and data analysts, agency leadership, and external partners and funders.
- Capacity to remain flexible to manage deadlines and multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accurate.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Business or other related field (BA plus significant relevant experience may be considered to meet this requirement).
- A minimum of 3-5 years of administrative or management experience is required. Experience in healthcare administration is preferred.
