Job Description


Opportunity at a Glance


This role leads a team of talent solution consultants and their managers to deliver established goals related to events activities and lead generation, account management and new partnership development across both Chamberlain University and Walden University. The incumbent collaborates closely with a team of strategic partner executives, sales operations, sales enablement, marketing and enrollment. The role leads the team to develop and successfully execute territory and partner account plans. The position will define both short and long-term strategic goals in relation to business growth and be responsible for managing key client relationships while maintaining an extensive knowledge of market conditions and industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and directs the strategies and activities of a team of talent solution consultants and their managers to optimize efforts and drive growth.
  • Enables and coaches the teams to elevate partner conversations and develop more strategic relationships
  • Establishes key metrics and performance measures that enables the team to achieve maximum productivity on an ongoing basis. Ensures delivery against goals.
  • Assesses the regions and key accounts to optimize the organizational structure to meet changing markets and demand.
  • Monitors, analyzes and anticipates market trends to identify new, emerging and enhanced partnership opportunities with health care systems, educational providers and other organizations. Identifies opportunities for partnerships to contribute to the growth of institutional programs.
  • Develops and implements short-term and long-term strategic plans to achieve desired new business development goals based on identified new and potential partnership opportunities that are consistent with the mission, vision and values of the university.
  • Provides senior management with accurate and timely information about department results on a continuing basis so as to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Master’s Degree Required.
  • 10+ years of experience with a combination of leading a business development or B2B sales team, territory/key account management, strategic planning, sales, business development, general management and marketing, preferably in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, Biotech and/or Education.
  • Experience leading B2B sales to hospitals preferred.
  • Experience interacting with senior leadership, both internal and external to the organization required.
  • Experience developing and implementing territory management and key account management plans to deliver results required.
  • Natural and intuitive ability to identify business opportunities and assess client needs to customize solutions to meet those needs.
  • Ability to develop strategic relationships and elevate partnerships.
  • A coach and developer of top talent with a track record of building high performing teams.
  • Ability to develop funnel and production reports, use analytics, reports and data to derive insights to grow the business.
  • Highly skilled networker, relationship builder and negotiator combined with excellent presentation, public speaking, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, build consensus, and buy-in to advance department objectives.
  • Works closely with National Director of Admissions to manage and support the relationship with admissions teams to drive growth objectives and new student enrollment goals.
  • Works with the marketing department to develop inquiry sources and create marketing materials to recruit students for CU programs. Develops and manages a P & L budget and other reports as requested by management.
  • Ensures that all operations are in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations along with the policies and procedures of the organization and institutions.

Additional Information


In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $97,253.99 and $175,761.85. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
