Dispatcher Job Position
Orozco Trucking, a leading transportation company located in Elk Grove Village is looking for dispatchers for its growing operation. Dispatchers manage between 5 and 10 trucks and are expected to work with the driver to a ensure safe and compliant environment along with acceptable earnings for the driver and company.
The dispatcher duties include daily communication with the driver, dispatching loads to the driver, helping handle issues that could come up during a normal day (excessive traffic, breakdowns, accidents, etc). How we handle these events is a reflection of the company’s image to both the customer and the driver. Our reputation to both is paramount.
Starting salary is $60,000 - $75,000 plus benefits and there is potential to move up as solid performance is displayed. The position is 100% on site in Elk Grove Village. Working remotely is not an option.
Prior experience dispatching is strongly preferred. The successful applicant must live within a reasonable commute (in Chicago traffic) to Elk Grove Village.
