The purpose of the Dispatcher is to assist the work of an assigned crew of movers and drivers while continuously demonstrating
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Core Values. This includes preparing trucks, assisting with schedules, and making sure the warehouse is in good working order.
What We Offer
- $15/hour-$17/hour with occasional overtime
- 1 pm-9 pm
- Work every 3rd Saturday
- Paid holidays (After 90 days)

Responsibilities
- Ensures correct billing and collection of payment
- Has a constant awareness of the location and status of crews and estimated times
- Assists with dispatch and tracking uniforms, equipment, boxes, and packing supplies inventory
- Ensures team members accurately complete pre and post-trip inspections and equipment checklists daily
- Review completed sales orders for accuracy
- Communicates retraining by submitting a retraining request to the Operations Manager to schedule with the training coordinator
- Holds team accountable to standards of performance and identifies best practices
- Works closely with movers and drivers to ensure the successful completion of moves with no negative feedback
- Helps create a positive “can do” workplace environment that is customer focused
- Boost referral ratings and customer satisfaction scores throughout the year
- Occasional box and/or supply deliveries to workers in the field
- All other duties as assigned by upper management

- Problem-solver in looking for ways to reduce damages, increase customer satisfaction scores and improve safety across the franchise

- Possess attention to detail, initiative, and sound judgment
- Must be proficient in map reading and have the ability to communicate directions
- Must be able to communicate in an effective, helpful, and friendly manner with co-workers and customers
- Language Skills: ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Apt in negotiating and persuading
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Clean driving record with less than 3 moving violations
- Mathematical Skills: the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of United States dollars and weight measurements, volume, distance, and time
- Reasoning Ability: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations with limited standardized procedures
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished with written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
