We are seeking Technicians/Installers to work on the road, 1st Shift M-F-in the Syracuse, NY area. If you have a positive CAN-DO attitude and are seeking career satisfaction with room to learn and grow, then we have the opportunity for you. As a Technician, you will travel to customer locations to install and perform high quality service repairs on all loading dock equipment such as dock levelers, vehicle restraints, dock shelters, dock seals, dock bumpers, commercial doors, rolling steel doors, speed roll doors, trash compactors, cardboard balers, etc. ensuring service meets the customer, business, and quality standards and requirements

A successful Technician will complete work assignments in a safe and satisfactory manner according to the needs of both the customer and the company. Successful Technicians become trusted advisors to our customers.

Qualification Standards Include:

• High School diploma or equivalent; Technical school graduate preferred
• Hydraulics, Mechanical and Electrical aptitude a must
• Must have and maintain a valid NYS driver’s license free of major infractions.
• Able to read and understand Schematics
• Must be able to safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and material handling equipment
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair work
• Excellent organizational skills, communicate verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of computers, tablets, complete paperwork on time
• Willingness to learn and attend training classes
• Must have the ability to perform strenuous and heavy work; exert force up to 100 pounds on occasion and frequently handle loads to 50 pounds. Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.
