Looking for someone to join our group of walkers. We service downtown Manhattan from Gramercy over to Chelsea and down the West side into Greenwich Village, West Village, SoHo, and TriBeCa. Our walks run from 9am - 7pm M-F, though working days will be 7-8 hours long. Weekend availability is a must, Sunday preferred.

We put the dogs first in our business and don’t ever do pack walks; each walker maxes out at 3 dogs per walk.

You must :

Be at least 21 years old and legal to work in the US

Have a reliable cell phone with internet coverage and camera

LOVE dogs and be interested in learning about different breeds and basic training practices

Also be comfortable with cats, as we provide hour long cat visits as well

Be physically fit- we walk upwards of 12 miles everyday with dogs of all breeds and sizes

Have appropriate clothing for NYC summers and winters, and not mind the heat, cold, rain, or snow

Be extremely communicative and punctual - consistent lateness will get you fired very quickly

Be able to maintain a professional rapport with our clients- a lot of pups’ parents are working from home and want to know who their baby is spending time with!

Have working knowledge of lower Manhattan and getting around on foot and by train

Have a strong work ethic

Have at least one weekend day available to work every weekend

Be able to commit for AT LEAST 6 months; do not apply if your availability will drastically change within the next 6 months

Training will be approximately two weeks, then you will start slowly with one or two dogs until you are fully trained.
