What is the Job?

Smash My Trash is operating nationwide and is looking for a driver in the Annapolis, MD area! We cover Anne Arundel and the eastern side of Prince Georges Counties. Our truck is located in Severn. We need a Full Time CDL B (Preferred, NOT REQUIRED) Truck Driver/ Equipment Operator/ Hydraulic Specialist who will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our Smash Truck. Our Smash Trucks are outfitted with state of the art hydraulic machinery to compact the contents of open-top dumpsters at municipalities and businesses using just a joystick ~ you don't physically touch any of the trash!!

It takes just 7 minutes to complete a smash before you move to the next location. You'll be working with sales and operations who will coordinate the smashes and truck route with the goal of reaching both sales and efficiency targets for you and the company.

Full Time Position - $20 - $25 per hour

What We Need from You

CDL Class B (preferred) - At Least 3-5 Years experience is Required and a Valid DOT Card (required).

Diesel mechanic/ hydraulic equipment technician experience is Required.

Strong work ethic, easy to work with, accountable and someone who acts with integrity.

Experience driving and maintaining a Kenworth Truck is a plus.

Background Check and Drug Screening required.

Physically be able to safely climb up and down a 4 foot ladder 20+ times a day.

Skilled with a smartphone and embrace the use of technology to properly track routes as a means to operate as safely and efficiently as possible. Also used to document pre and post trip info as well as maintenance.

Ability to attend live immersive driver / operator training at on-boarding.
