PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To maximize the specialty category arm of shopgoodwill.com, such as Music and Media, Jewelry, Artwork, Legos, or any other specialty category defined by management. Responsibilities include: photographing and listing products on shopgoodwill.com and other online marketplaces; assisting in the selection and processing of items as needed; sorting, cleaning and displaying merchandise; help facilitate shipping and assists with pickups; rotating out merchandise; answering customer inquiries. E Commerce Clerk III Specialist’s display above average knowledge and expertise in the determined category, and is able to demonstrate this through listing quality, generated revenue, and low frequency of customer complaints and returns. Demonstrate production of the highest quality and demonstrate a willingness to share his/her knowledge with other employees in order to motivate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Photographs items then edits and crops photos.
• Assists in pulling items for re-listing.
• Assists in sorting, identifying and preparing assigned category items for photography.
• Monitors trends in the specific category market and adjusts listings to ensure maximum value.
• Able to navigate other marketplaces for online sales channels such as Ebay, Instagram, and Amazon.
• Assists in filing items and maintaining the shelves.
• Helps facilitate shipment of sold items if needed.
• Assists shipping clerk in answering customer inquiries.
• Able to list items for sale on various marketplaces at an acceptable level with a minimum of errors.
• Able to assist in developing store specific training for specific category if necessary.
• Assists in preparing product to be sent back to the main campus.
• Provides feedback to manager regarding production issues.
• Performs housekeeping duties as required.
• Consistently surpasses specific department goals for: 1) Average Price and 2) Listing Goals.
• Works closely with entry level E Commerce employees and program participants to ensure their success.
• Works overtime as required. Performs other job-related duties as required.
• Safeguards company property, including donated goods. Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of company property. Acts safely at all times, following all safety rules and regulations. Follows all company policies and procedures
• Promotes and demonstrates cooperation and teamwork. Assists and shares knowledge and information with other employees as needed. Uses good interpersonal skills such as courtesy, sensitivity, politeness, and thoughtfulness.
• Works with, trains, and/or acts as a good example for program participants receiving training at Goodwill.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have 2-year minimum e-commerce experience and exemplary performance.
• Must be able to communicate and understand the English language.
• Must be able to operate a digital camera and photo editing software.
• Demonstrates excellent knowledge of specialty items, collectible LP, CD, Vinyl Records, Cassette and other secondary music and media markets.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated technical expertise with software, hardware, and all third party programs utilized by e-store.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all employees, both virtually and in person.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Applications.
• Advanced knowledge of shopgoodwill.com site functions, as well as familiarity with other. E Commerce avenues and trends. Must be able to type a minimum of 35 WPM.
• Must possess business grammar and writing skills with minimal errors.
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
