The Gillz. LLC, eCommerce Specialist role oversees the daily operations of the direct-to-consumer eCommerce business, ensuring a top-tier online shopping experience for customers, and collaborating with the marketing team a strategic direction to achieve ambitious revenue growth targets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in eCommerce operations and a deep understanding of best practices for creating exceptional digital site experiences and relentless outstanding customer service. This position is at our corporate headquarters located in Jacksonville Beach, Florida

Key Responsibilities:

● Take strategic direction from key stakeholders including marketing ideation, managing product listings (merchandising), promotions, and researching ways to drive growth

● Create a customer-centric, data-driven approach to evaluate opportunities and define requirements. Must be proficient with reporting platforms such as Google Analytics, Shopify Plus and Triple Whale.

● Collaborate closely with the creative and agency teams to identify and test site enhancements that will boost conversion rates and improve the customer experience journey

● Continuously research new tech solutions to improve our online performance

● Optimize 4 branded Social Media Stores (Facebook/Instagram) to increase revenue opportunities with Social Selling

● Utilize our digital reporting suite to gain insights into business trends and learnings

● Establish systems for inventory levels, shipping costs, fraud detection, etc.

● Partner with Performance Marketing teams to optimize best-selling products, bundles, special offers and other ways to increase customer retention

● Act as Customer Service leader to understand and address customer pain points and reply to all customer inquiries, returns and exchanges.

● Manage omni channel partners, such as: Samsclub.com, Homedepot.com, Lowes.com

Requirements:

● 3+ years working in e-commerce roll with a strong understanding in Shopify.

● Bachelor’s degree required.

● Must be sales oriented and have superior customer service skills.

● Data driven with a clear understanding of ecommerce metrics using Google Analytics with a commitment to increasing profits and ROI.

● Demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence and influence in both written and oral communications with senior leaders, peers, and team members

● Strong problem solving capabilities in a fast paced environment

● Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are always being tested and improved

● Experience working directly in the Shopify platform and related app ecosystem

● Deep understanding of A/B testing, UX/UI best practices and metrics

● Ability to leverage data sets to make informed business recommendations

● Capable of analyzing and optimizing workflow

● Experience working with both technical and business counterparts to deliver on a shared vision lead by marketing leadership

● Experience working in a scaled organization; startup experience preferred

● Excellent ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

**Knowledge using Shopify, ZenDesk, Amazon Seller Central, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Suite is preferred.
