Job Description & Requirements:

Origins School of Learning is always looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and welcoming teachers to join our team.

Lead Teacher:

• Actively participates in development and implementation of our research based HighScope Curriculum
• Create a safe environment for children to explore and discover new interests
• Assess each child's developmental needs according to Ohio's Early Learning and Developmeny Standards
• Facilitate Parent/Teacher conferences with student evaluations using ASQ's
• Communicate regularly with parents
• Foster lasting relationships with each child and their families
• Mentor Assitant Teachers
• Coordinate transitions such as bathroom, lunch, and naptime
• Maintain 1:12 teacher-to-student ratio
• Set up and organize classroom before arrival
• Observe all rules and regulations by local, state, and national regulatory agencies pertaining to health, safety, and care for children
• Stay current with all required appearance according to guidelines in the Employee Handbook

Assistant Teacher:

• Assist the Lead Teacher in creating a safe and inclusive classroom
• Assist with trasitions throughout the day
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher throughout the day
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher to carry out daily tasks
• Foster lasting relationships with each child and their families
• Maintain 1:12 teacher-to-student ratio
• Set up and organize classroom before student arrival
• Observes all rules and regulations by local, state, and national regulatory agencies pertaining to health, safety, and care for children
• Stay current with all required trainings and appearances at school events determined by the Director

*Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma

Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time

Hours: 7:30 am-4:30 pm

Pay: From $15.50-$24.00 per hour (based on education and years of experience)
