Daily Responsibilities

• Installation of different roofing and sheet metal with little or no instruction.
• Ability to flash details with little or no instruction.
• Understands and complies with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform document and equipment inspections.
• Able to lead the crew in any aspect of roofing or sheet metal.
• Actively teach, train and mentor new team members.
• Understands roofing and sheet metal.
• Knowledgeable of safety equipment, procedures, and solutions.
• Efficient with all basic hand and power tools.
• Able to flash details without instruction.
• Can identify common roof systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR etc)
• Assists with implementing project specific instructions and details.
• Understands and assists in material management.
• Understands and assists in safety management.
• Understands and assists in communication with other trades and customer.
• Has the ability to mentor crew as needed.
• Able to complete daily paperwork and work orders through FCS.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
• Maintain an appropriate physical appearance present a positive image of Sutter Roofing to everyone that you come in contact with during your work day.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures while performing your daily work schedule.

Special Position Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Physically strong, agile, and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions
• Stand for longer periods of time.
• Available to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• EPDM, TPO, PVC, STANDING SEAM, SHEET METAL, BUR, MOD-BIT
• 10 years of experience as a foreman
• Valid Driver's License Preferred
• Familiar with OSHA regulations
• Must be technology savvy and able to utilize a smartphone daily
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to travel*
