Perform the duties of an MRI Technologist
Perform specialized procedures examinations.
Maintain adequate level of supplies for special procedures.
Maintain a smooth workflow and keep track of schedule for the day.
Maintain current knowledge of all special and routine procedures in MRI
Maintain awareness of and comply Upstate Orthopedics and regulatory agencies standards, rules, regulations and codes applicable to radiologic services.
Maintain competency in caring for patients of all age groups and developmental stages,
Maintain clean examination rooms, equipment and accessories.
Provide assistance to patients in transfer between exam table and wheelchair / stretcher; provide appropriate patient care as required.
Communicate with patients requiring examination and procedures, and provide reassurance as necessary.
Perform identification procedure by verbally confirming with the patient before beginning a procedure.
Maintain complete understanding of the Radiology Management Systems as it pertains to the MRI.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
