Sodexo's Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opening for the exclusive Lufthansa Business Lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). We are seeking a General Manager, Aviation Lounge 1 to join our hospitality team. The lounge is dedicated space for elite passengers to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy a varied food buffet offering or order enjoy an assortment of beverages.. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and experienced General Manager to be part of creating memorable lounge experiences for our guests. This General Manager will work with an exceptional hospitality team to grow and expand the lounge which services international passengers daily.

We are looking for candidates who will be:

Responsible for insuring excellent front of house guest services for this upscale lounge. We are seeking seasoned hospitality professionals with food service knowledge as well as experience managing Bartenders, alcohol/bar service, Food Attendants and Custodial staff.

The members in these private clubs expect and deserve 5-star service!

If you have prior experience in a high-end hospitality venue; including hotels, fine-dining restaurants or other 5-star hospitality venue, we want to hear from you.

The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
• motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; and/or
• ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
• fully versed in Profit and Loss, inventory and fiscal responsibilities of operating a stand alone business;
• will generally work a Monday - Friday schedule; subject to operational requirements.
