The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Group Manager, Production Services in Jersey City, NJ to coordinate Production Services activities and develop business plans and implement long-range projects. Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Coding and supporting implementations of Ruby on Rails, .net framework, IBM MQ, Docker/Kubernetes, and Java; Designing and developing resilient code for container migration across datacenters for seamless Datacenter rotation using 1Desk; Designing messaging algorithms to handle security exception messages in the security trading platform; Designing and configuring a messaging infrastructure for instruction capture and delivery servicing a multi-tenant platform utilizing IBM MQ and Rabbit MQ; Designing and configuring data quality checks across the environment to ensure centralized Data Lake is generating correct data from the accounting system data feed using ruby scripts and SQL queries; Building alerts and monitoring dashboards utilizing Splunk to capture Operational semaphores and generate and deliver client extracts; Designing and implementing of functional tests for application releases to validate successful end to end processing prior to Operations and Technical acceptance of change; and reviewing the configuration and security settings within the databases of financial systems and applications using MS SQL, Oracle Exadata, and PostgreSQL.
