Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in people management/leadership

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in effective sales/operations management and strategic planning
  • Experience managing and influencing executive or C-level clients and stakeholders, with excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital brand media advertising, competitive landscape, and Google's suite of products

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As the Head of Industry, you will lead and coach teams that use consultative business skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions. You will work with the Sales Leadership team to set goals and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Additionally, you will help teams deliver on goals and partner directly with customers to exceed business and growth goals across markets.


Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000-$272,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Engage with cross-functional talent to deliver insights, ideas, and customer centric solutions to drive growth for our customers and for Google.
  • Develop and foster C-level relationships.
  • Analyze data trends and performance, develop strategic business plans, and lead preparation and delivery of strategic business presentations and narratives.
