Body Shop Estimator Responsibilities:

• Appraise vehicle damage to determine the cost of repair for insurance claim settlements

• Inspecting and testing automobiles by using mechanical testing devices, questioning customers about the vehicles performance or by visually inspecting the vehicle

• Prepares itemized work orders, listing the cost of parts and labor

• Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of all body shop employees

• Directs and schedules the work of all body shop employees

• Establishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance adjusters and customers to encourage repeat and referral business

• Monitors technicians daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records

• Attends managers meetings

• Keeps abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommends purchases

• Facilitates and/or conducts technical training

• Ensures proper safety equipment is available and being used properl

Body Shop Estimator Qualifications:

• PA State Appraiser License is Required

• Minimum of 5 years experience in collision repair

• A valid driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards

• An enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic person who has a personal determination to overcome possible objections while providing an outstanding customer experience

• Professional personal appearance

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities

• Process and detail oriented with developed organizational skills

• Confident in ability to work under pressure and prioritize

• Ambitious and possess a desire to learn and grow within our company
