Hospitality Specialist

Pay: $18-$19 per Hr

Hours: Mon-Fri 5pm-6am (can choose to do 3 days) with possible day shifts available

Location: Montpelier

Job Description:

This role will ensuring all accommodations a& public areas of the inn are kept to a high standard of cleanliness, delivering great customer service, and maximizing guest satisfaction. Works closely with security on the safety of overnight guests.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures white-glove service through hospitality for guests.

• Manage inventory w/technology to maximize occupancy & service levels.

• Clean & organize accommodations/rooms, as needed, maintaining high standards

• Assists in execution of any events or meetings at the guest house.

• Uphold & promote Guest House Safety Standards & Protocols

• Maintain a welcoming & safe environment befitting a 5-Star Inn

• Performs cleaning duties in public areas of the inn, including living room, den, dining room, outdoor terrace, & meeting space at the inn

• Assists w/preparation of hot or cold breakfast items.

• Maintains inventory of necessary supplies. Communicates with supervisor on a timely basis of any updates/maintenance needs or supplies.

• Performs additional duties as needed.

• Become CPR trained.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous hospitality experience preferred or similar previous position

• The position requires a flexible schedule with ability to work nights, evenings, days & some select weekends (this position is primarily overnight shifts)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & the ability to learn other proprietary systems

• Guest centric attitude & pro-active approach to involvement in operations

• High level of independence & problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail & a passion for quality & cleanliness

• Physical demands include lifting/moving objects up to 25 pounds.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Previous housekeeping a plus

• Valid drivers license
