Vacation Rental Company in the North Myrtle Beach area with position open for a full-time, year round Housekeeping Manager to lead our small team of housekeepers and ensure we provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include scheduling and organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members and inspecting properties to ensure that they meet the highest degree of quality at all times. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities. Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that guests are completely satisfied.

Responsibilities

  • Staffing and training of housekeepers, inspectors and housemen
  • Provide weekly scheduling for staff
  • Oversee team on a daily basis and check properties to ensure that housekeeping staff are performing required duties
  • Respond and document, promptly and professionally, to all guest cleaning complaints
  • Provide payroll invoicing to Accounting each week for housekeepers
  • Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
  • Oversee laundry department
  • Coordinate with owners in the off-season for deep cleans and restocking of properties

Skills

  • Housekeeping Management experience needed-1 year
  • Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Must be able to multi-task and make executive decisions
  • Excellent communication, organizational and team management skills
  • Need to be self-motivated and energetic, taking great pride in the quality of your team's work
  • Able to work under stressful and high-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various days and weekends throughout the summer
  • Maintain clean and organized work area
  • Be physically able to clean properties if staffing is short
  • Company vehicle provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
