As Business Partners, we provide HR support to ARC Centers in all areas of HR and to maintain a safe and comfortable work environment to help keep employees engaged, promote communication, compliance, accountability and consistency to support the ARC Program.

We are currently looking for an HR Manager who will lead and provide HR support to officers and management in all aspects of HR for multiple locations (Riverside, San Bernardino, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver & Portland). Required travel to assigned Centers and stores based on business needs such as higher volume hiring, interviewing, employee relations or training.

As our enthusiastic and hardworking HR COORDINATOR you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Post and monitor ARC Command and Contact Center jobs openings.
  • Perform pre-employment process for new Command employees including background/reference checks, and CBRRC.
  • Schedule and conduct new hire orientation.
  • Enter TSAMM entries with proper documentation.
  • Communicate information on benefits and assist with annual open enrollment.
  • Respond to and keep record of LOA requests and extensions.
  • Report and work with THQ Risk Management on WC claims.
  • Review bi-weekly payroll, submit changes/adjustments to THQ Payroll and request manual checks.
  • Set up new employees in OTIS Training website and assign training courses.
  • Track and maintain record of completed required training.
  • Assist Center HR with DOT DQ files and maintenance.
  • Maintain I-9 files. Conduct audits annually.
  • Maintain HR Forms and documents in HR TEAMS folder.
  • Run reports using UKG standard reports and Business Intelligence
  • File and maintain personnel files (paper and electronic form)
  • Respond and assist with inquiries from Regional HR team as well as Center HR Assistants
  • Assist with HR Special Projects
  • Other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or HR Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of relevant HR experience
  • AA degree preferred or suitable combination of skills and experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including email, MS Office
  • Experience using HR software and HRIS databases.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess and maintain valid driver’s license.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and able to interact with staff at all levels.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
