We are seeking a HRIS Analyst who will be responsible for providing technical, analytical, and user support for the Companys HRIS systems (UKG / Ceridian Dayforce), including managing data transactions, performing data entry, audits and on-going system maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving system and data issues, creating reports, and performing data analytics.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides end user front-line and daily HRIS data support, including manages data transactions and mass changes to employee-level data, (new hires, terms, promotions, status changes), troubleshoots system and data issues and coordinates resolution to meet department and corporate and field user needs. Performs required and scheduled tasks to maintain ongoing data and system processing/functionality.


Performs daily audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and to ensure employees can view and modify personnel information.


Creates and maintains data imports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.


Partners with HRIS Manager to implement and test system changes and new functionality; develop and test interfaces between UKG/Dayforce and external vendors; setup and maintain system security, role-based permissions, workflow approvals, business rules, and platform configuration settings; and identify opportunities for system and process improvements across all HRIS modules.


Develops and maintains relevant HR strategic reports (i.e., turnover, staffing, headcount, demographics, etc.) and data analytics for dashboards using HRIS reporting tools, MS Excel, and/or Access. Audits report data for integrity and accuracy and effective presentation.


Creates and runs scheduled and ad-hoc reports.


Partners with HRIS manager in continuous improvement projects, including developing, recommending, and implementing innovative solutions, policy or program changes, data flow analysis, and researching functionalities.


Supports and participates as a project team member to provide technical HRIS and business process support for integration and impact with other HR and enterprise systems and implementations.


Develops and maintains process documentation of HRIS system and end-user procedures and processes.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education - Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.

Experience 3-4 years progressive HRIS experience required, preferably with required, preferably with UltiPro and/or Ceridian Dayforce or other HRIS Platforms (i.e., Workday, Oracle, ADP); IT experience helpful.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Solid understanding of HR, compensation & benefits, and payroll processes, and HRIS database design, structure, function and processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS reporting tools (i.e., Crystal Reports, Business Intelligence, Cognos)
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer-service orientation, including ability to effectively communicate with technical staff and business partners
  • Strong organization, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention-to-detail and learning agility
  • Must be a self-starter and take initiative, with the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, time-sensitive and confidential team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including MS Access and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior


Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to operate a computer keyboard.

The range for this position is $92,400 - $129,400 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
