Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience + Spiffs

Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. With Occasional evenings & weekends

We have an immediate opening for a Journeyman HVAC Service Technician to join our team, someone experienced in residential HVAC service and maintenance, able to train apprentices, and has their 06A Electrical license.

Position Summary: To provide service and maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Cross training in residential installation.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Pass background and drug screen
• Valid driver's license, and insurable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4 + years of HVAC experience
• Universal EPA Certification
• 06A Electrical license or 06B License desired
• Proficient at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance for wide range of residential equipment
• Proficient understanding in HVAC functional design and of ductwork modifications
• Good understanding of all HVAC low voltage systems & ability to acquire 06A license
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Experience making repair and replace decisions
• Residential installation experience desired
• Advanced customer service skills
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Knowledge of and ability to follow city and county installation codes
• Exceptional safety knowledge of tools and surroundings
• Willingness to invest time in training and classes
• Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School desired
