Responsabilities:

• Expertise with EPA Regulatory requirements in the handling and recycling of refrigerants used in the Air Handling Unit equipment. Experiencia con los requisitos regulatorios de la EPA en el manejo y reciclado de refrigerantes utilizados en los equipos de las unidades de tratamiento de aire.
• Well-versed in installing and repairing pumps, motors, fan coils and piping Vasta experiencia en la instalación y reparación de bombas, motores, bobinas “fan coils” y tuberías
• Performs a variety of standard to moderately complex technical tasks related to installing, maintaining and repairing heating, cooling, ventilation and related systems.Realiza una variedad de tareas técnicas, de complejidad estándar a moderadas, relacionadas con la instalación, el mantenimiento y la reparación de sistemas de calefacción, refrigeración, ventilación y sistemas relacionados.
• Performs preventative maintenance on various mechanical and electrical equipment in heating and cooling systems.Realiza mantenimiento preventivo en varios equipos mecánicos y eléctricos en sistemas de calefacción y refrigeración.
• Monitors and inspects heating and cooling systems to ensure continued proper operation. Supervisa e inspecciona los sistemas de calefacción y refrigeración para garantizar el funcionamiento continuo.

Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills:

• 1.Active Licensed Refrigeration Technician awarded by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico

• EPA Licensed

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipments, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and smell. The employee may lift and/or move up to 25-35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• He / she may frequently work inside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, exposed to wet and or humid conditions, and an odorous atmosphere, may be exposed to fumes and the risk of electrical shock, and occasionally work on ladders in high places, in small spaces, such as lift/metering stations, manholes, tanks and wet wells. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
