You will:

· Engage in a 3-week training program to learn the essentials in repairing home and office furniture

· Be taught to diagnose, maintain, service and repair furniture at a variety of residential and commercial locations across the metroplex

Essential duties

· Build and maintain healthy relationships with customers, clients and AHM team partners

· Coordinate with AHM team members to proactively prepare parts and supplies for anticipated needs of our customers

· Answer service calls to troubleshoot and diagnose repairs and complete required onsite repairs

· Attend and participate in all AHM required trainings and staff meetings

· Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and locations

· Complete required service reports and follow other AHM operating procedures and policies

· Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent

· Must have valid driver’s license with Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) within the acceptable parameters of Company Policy required. Reliable transportation and travel, sometimes to other cities, is required.

· Must be able to lift and move 100 lbs.

· Proven work history demonstrating key competencies: Coachability; Mechanical aptitude; ability to work within a team; effective written and verbal communication skills; self-motivated and disciplined; forward thinking; able to plan, prepare and problem solve; provide quality customer care

· Willing to perform other tasks or duties as assigned

Work Environment

Our in-home service technician’s work primarily within the homes and offices of our valued customers as well as varied commercial properties. Reliable transportation and travel, sometimes to other cities, is required.

The In-Home Service Technician is a full-time, non-exempt employment opportunity. All technicians are provided a weekly work schedule (typically Mon-Friday between the hours of 7:30 am – 5:00 pm) and are placed in the on-call rotation which may include work after hours and weekends.

Compensation

3- week training $15/hour; Once trained and released to answer service calls, technicians may start at $18/hour with potential to earn up to $27/hour with further growth and experience.

AHM is looking for technicians to service in cities across the US. For technitions out of state, hotel and travel accommodations will be made to allow for completion of required training in Houston. Apply now to learn more.
