Job Summary

Interviewing for an intake department legal assistant who will be the primary point-of-contact for all potential new clients. The ideal candidate will be able to operate well in a fast-paced personal injury law firm and is experienced with customer service, multi-tasking, great communication and above-all well-developed organizational skills.

The interviewees will possess the following:

• Experience in a law firm environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Type 60+ words per minute.
• Exceptional telephone skills.
• Customer service experience
• Teamwork attitude.
• Consistent follow-through with tasks.
• Microsoft Word and Excel familiarity (CloudLex experience is a Plus).
• Subordinate attitude - willing to take instruction.
• Ability and desire to follow directions.
• Exemplary Professional Conduct.
• Desire to be flexible with the work schedule.
• Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Taking and screening new client calls.
• Scheduling new client sign-ups.
• Conducting insurance inquiries.
• Coordinating initial client medical appointments.
• Assisting with investigative tasks.
• Back-up receptionist.
• Other clerical duties as needed.
