Job Description
Job Summary
The Internal Auction Coordinator shall be responsible for assigning vehicles to auction, and monitoring inventory. The Internal Auction Coordinator will act as a liaison between the auctions and Exeter Finance Asset Remarketing. This role requires independent judgment and typically has limited supervision. Knowledge of all areas in Collections & Loss Mitigation is generally expected.
Job Duties
- 25% - Assign vehicles to auction and monitor aged inventory.
- 25% - Properly document all account activity in required systems: 1) update Auto IMS to match vehicle status including redemptions, legal sale date, title status, and hold and 2) notate sale dates and move accounts into sold queue once sold
- 20% - Request titles and distribute them with the applicable documents to auctions; assist in title problems.
- 10% - Reconcile Auction Inventory to insure the quickest possible sale.
- 05% - Point of contact for processing vehicle redemptions with auction houses.
- 05% - Maintain open communication between auction, vendors and internal staff to create efficiency and minimize loss to the company.
- 05% - Ensures compliance with Exeter’s policies & procedures, safety, state and federal laws, regulations and standards.
- 05% - Other duties as required.
Qualifications - Education and Work Experience
- 1-2 years Remarketing experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Auto IMS
- Knowledge of repo title process for all fifty (50) states
