Our IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) is an after-school program for kids who benefit from more than just traditional therapy. This holistic program provides kids with the opportunity to socialize, learn new things, and have fun, while group and individual therapy equips them with the tools they need to navigate life and its stressors.

As a Program Coordinator you will help supervise and provide an enriching experience for these kids. Working in coordination with our licensed and registered clinical staff members, Program Coordinators help ensure that our clients are enjoying a safe and fun experience. Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Experience working with Kids
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must show professionalism and be non-judgemental with clients
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Work effectively with a team
• experience with tutoring

Preferred, but not required:

• PEERS© Certified
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in ABA (applied behavioral analysis)
• Camp counselor experience
• Have taken college classes related to social and behavioral sciences, psychology, or a related topic
• Fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Program Supervisor, the Program Coordinator will:

• Report to work in person at our facility
• Supervise children who are enrolled in the program
• Assist children with their homework
• Keep patients entertained and engaged
• Play games with patients
• Facilitate assigned groups and activities as designated by the Facility Manager
• Ensure clients attend designated group activities
• Document client’s progress
• Help with clean up and set up
• Provide clients with encouragement
• Coordinate with clinical staff as needed
• Dress appropriately for an environment where you are working with children
• Attend any mandatory staff meetings or training sessions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
