POSITION SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS:
**This role will sit in our Corporate Office in Birmingham, Alabama.**
The IT Service Desk Agent is the first line of support for DGOC’s IT environment. Service Desk agents are responsible for triaging customer requests and issues, resolving if possible, or engaging Tier 2/3 support for resolution. Requests and issues will come in via phone or through the DGOC service management system. Requests and issues that can’t be resolved on first call will be prioritized by business impact and age of ticket for follow up and resolution.
This role will report to the Call Center Manager. We service over 1200 employees, dozens of applications, and thousands of endpoints. Our service area covers six states currently, supported by our in-house analyst teams and supplemental support partners.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years IT Service Center experience.
  • Basic knowledge of supporting cloud-based applications.
  • 1-3 years User Management, Azure Active Directory, identify password related issues and provide resolution.
  • Experience in remote technical support via telephone in a service/call center environment
  • First level laptop/desktop/application installation, configuration, administration, and trouble-shooting skills for Intel PC hardware, Microsoft Windows, and
  • Application software (including Office 365), and Intune.
  • Ability to multitask handle tickets, chats, and calls.
  • First line business application support and triage.
  • ITSM, ITIL
