Janitorial Technician - Part Time Job at Goodwill Industries of West Michigan
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for general janitorial cleaning at company-owned sites and with custodial contracts as part of a crew while under direct supervision.
Job Functions:
General Cleaning Tasks:

Clean building floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, or wet mopping them.

Dusting, polishing, and surface cleaning.

Clean restrooms using a process to disinfect/sanitize, and stock supplies.

Gather and empty trash/recycling.
Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic while on the job site.
Follow directions at the job site and complete work assignments in a timely manner.
Maintain the established quality standard level of cleanliness and appearance of the job site at all times.
Responsible for efficient supply and equipment use.
Physical Requirements:
Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of lifting bending, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, carrying, pushing, talking, hearing and seeing.
Work Conditions:
- Inside generally 100%, however, may include outside work on occasion. Exposure may include noise or vibration, fumes, weather, and hazards.
- Short deadline requiring some overtime. Some holidays and weekends are required.
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:

Some experience in general janitorial cleaning is preferred.
