Be the Job Coach that is going to change the lives of others! We are looking for a Job Coach to work within the Rancho Cucamonga area. This is a Part-Time to Full-Time position (Approximately 20-35 hours per week). VIP's Job Coaches have assisted thousands of adults with intellectual disabilities (Clients) over the past 37 years! The VIP goal is to maximize the potential of each of our clients, and to put them in the best position possible for independence and success. Here at VIP, we prioritize promoting from within! Although VIP stands for Vocational Improvement Program, our Job Coaches truly are Very Important People, and we look forward to meeting our next one!

What You'll Do

• Coach, assist, and support employees with disabilities in learning and excelling in their job functions. This is done one-on-one between the Job Coach and client.
• Assess clients’ vocational strengths and training opportunities.
• Provide documentation of assessments and performance.
• Communicate progress with case managers and supervisor to ensure client success.
• Maintain a professional relationship between client(s) and the job site employer.

Who You Are

• Someone who is FLEXIBLE & with open availability. (preferred)
• Someone with a high school diploma or GED.
• Someone who is 21 years of age or older.
• Someone who has a valid California Driver's License and auto insurance.
• Someone with reliable transportation.
• Someone who has previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or is eager to learn how to work with these individuals!
