Spokane Industries is looking for an Industrial Electrician for our Foundry. The successful candidate will have a solid work ethic, pride in workmanship and strong leadership skills. Great opportunity for leadership role and advancement.

Journeyman Industrial Electrician desired skill set:

Primary Accountabilities:

• Adhere to all employee and safety policies.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatuses such as transformers, electric motors, electric motor starters, MCC panels, variable frequency drives, valves, and switches.
• Replace damaged or broken wires, fuses, switches, and cables.
• Install and repair three-phase and single-phase electrical apparatuses and control circuits.
• Repair, install, program, and utilize standalone controllers, PLC’s, and touchscreens.
• Troubleshoot gas combustion systems such as boilers and furnaces.
• Repair and maintain HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
• Interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and manuals.
• Know and perform proper lockout/tagout procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have three years' experience as an electrician working in an industrial environment.
• Must have motor control circuit experience.
• Must be familiar with industrial and electrical laws.
• Must have basic PLC controls experience.
• Strong mechanical, analytical and solution driven skills.
• Ability to balance priorities and possess a strong adherence to deadlines.
• Posses strong electrical and mechanical abilities.
• Ability to correctly use electrical measurement devices.
• Must be able to interpret electrical schematics.
• Gas combustion system experience.
• Overhead crane maintenance experience a plus.
• Electrical trade school or license preferred.
• Industrial Plant Experience.

Pay Range:
$35 - $45 per hour, plus Profit Sharing!!!
