Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced social media copywriter (with a background in digital and direct-response copywriting, preferably at an agency) to take on the responsibility of writing both organic and paid social copy for brands such as Frito-Lay, QDOBA, Florsheim Shoes, Cousins Subs, Johnsonville, Instant Brands, Heritage Financial Credit Union, and of course Margle Media.
Job Responsibilities
- Copywriting for direct response digital ads (Social, Programmatic, Google, etc.), email, website, and organic social media
- Script copywriting
- Editing of organic social media copy (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn) – sound understanding of the platform best practices including copy length, tone by platform, hashtags, etc.
- Working with operations, creative and traffic management to ensure all deadlines are met
- Help to build and execute social media advertising campaigns through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
- Collaboration with all members of the creative team to ensure campaign and brand cohesion.
Experience and Education
- Degree in, Communication, Journalism, or Public Relations
- Proficient understanding of best practices on social media
- Required: at least 2-3 years of copywriting experience in an agency setting

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Work is to be completed in person, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Individual must be willing to work some nights and weekends as the workload necessitates. The position is considered salaried and exempt.
Physical Demands This position will require an employee to be able to be sedentary for long periods of time in an environment with the noise level of an average office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
