Kitchen Aide-FULL TIME Job at Bethel Lutheran Home Inc
Position Summary
This position is required to assist the cook to prepare resident food in a timely manner. As well as maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen, dinning room, and dishes.
- Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
- Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
- Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
- Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
- Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
- Assisting with educational programs on nutrition
- Washing pots, pans, and dishes
- Sweeping kitchen area
Minimum Requirements
- 1 year of food experience preferred
- Must be able to read labels on chemicals
- Communication skills
- Multitasking skills
- Organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.58 per hour
