Laboratory - Pathology Assistant | Mid shift, $57.50/Hour ($2,300/Weekly) | New York, NY 10016
Pay and hours for Laboratory - Pathology Assistant :
- The contract is for 12 weeks.
- Shift Times: 11:00am-7:00pm (30 min unpaid lunch)
- Rate: $2,300.00/weekly.
Requirements for Travel Laboratory - Pathology Assistant:
- Minimum of 2 years operating room RN in multi specialties
- Work Setting Experience: Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital Histology: Core Biopsies, Curetting’s, Decalcification, Excision Specimen, Formalin, Frozen Section/Tissues, Incisional Biopsies, Methods of freezing, Gross and all Major and minor specimens, Gross biospies
- Required Licensure: NYSDOH License as a clinical laboratory histotechnician, technician, or technologist
- COVID19 vaccinated is a MUST.
- Required Skills Experience: Grossing biopsies (required), Tissue Processing/Frozen sectioning (preferred)
- Certifications: NYS Pathology Assistant(required)
