Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Flint MI USA 48505
Duration: 11 Months Contract (Potential Temp to Perm)
Pay Rate: $18/hr. (Fixed)
Shift Time: 1st Shift (M-F; 6 AM – 4:30 PM)
Job Details:
- Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance or research setting.
- Duties usually consist of making measurements, 5S practices & working with full scale automation.
- Assists higher level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment and in recording data for experiments and procedures.
- Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests.
- Performs routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- This is an entry-level position. Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and no prior experience.
1st shift but 2nd shift if needed.
- Candidates will be primarily on first shift but if I have a need to run a booth on second I will move them to second shift.
