Landscape Maintenance Account Manager:
Manages new and existing client relationships, overseeing ongoing property maintenance and seasonal needs. Ensures customer satisfaction while maintaining budget goals. Sources and increases maintenance portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with new and existing clients
• Facilitate transition from landscape construction client to a landscape maintenance client
• Work with client to develop a property maintenance plan
• Work with maintenance personnel to develop and update schedules
• Work with Operations Manager to schedule equipment, as needed
• Communicate with clients and visit properties regularly to ensure clients’ needs are being met
• Build and develop landscape maintenance client portfolio by generating referrals from existing clients and developing overall marketing and sales strategy
• Manage account estimates, contracts, and upsell services
• Accurately invoice clients monthly and maintain receivables using SAGE software system

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of horticultural practices, plant species identification and knowledge of plant varieties.
• Some experience with disease & insect identification and control a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, landscape crews and management.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to proactively and independently problem solve as issues arise
• Ability to learn new software systems independently

Education and Experience/Licenses:

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 to 5 years of landscape maintenance account management experience required
• Valid driver’s license
• MCH, MCLP, or similar certifications a plus
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office

Phys ical Requirements:

• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
