Summary
Montessori Country School, a non-profit, parent owned school with 51 years of service for providing outstanding Montessori education in the Herndon and surrounding communities is looking for a new language teacher. While we have had French as the language taught over all these years we are also recognizing the need to look at other possibilities.
Montessori Country School is looking for either a French or Spanish teacher to continue our language program. This is a part time position, 2 days a week for approximately 6 hours per week depending on number of classes. The language classes are for our primary students (who are between 3 to 5 or 6).
Montessori Country School is a small tight-knit community of families and staff, we would love to have you come and join our family.
Duties
engage and teach primary students the language of choice through hands on, games etc
monthly lesson plans
help children learn songs in language chosen for holiday concert and Kindergarten graduation
Requirements
native speaker
good command of both English and the language chosen
experience teaching young children a language
