Laying House Technician - Hiring Immediately Job at Penmac Staffing
Penmac Staffing is now hiring for workers for a laying house at a poultry facility is Southern Missouri. This position is responsible for the daily care of flocks and proper collection and identification of eggs.
$15.00 per hour. Shifts available:
Sunday – Wednesday 6:40am – 4:40pm
Wednesday – Saturday 6:50am – 4:50pm

Duties:
- Collect eggs, place in plastic flat, and mark appropriately per line identification standards and properly calculates and records number of eggs laid per flock
- Provide daily care of flock. Monitor and calculate health of the flock according to standards and report any discrepancies
- Maintains bedding and nests to animal welfare standards
- Be able to regularly push/pull crates weighing up to 60 pounds
- Have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine upon hire and willing to get the second dose within 45 days.
- Comply with the company’s hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Not allowed to own, live near or have contact with any type of poultry
- Be dependable
- Submit to a pre-employment drug screen
