Primary responsibilities: Complete all assigned work and set up cook station, Maintains products presentations, product quality and cook time standards

Specific Functions and Duties:

  • Prep menu items according to IHOP Recipes,
  • Plate Presentations and specifications
  • Sets up work station according to station diagram
  • Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times
  • Cleans and sanitized the work area before, during and after shift
  • Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects

Qualifications Standards:

  • Able to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on high and low shelves
  • Reading, writing and verbal communication skill required
  • Capable of using knives and other food preparation equiment
  • Mobility required during entire shift

Job Description

IHOP cooks are responsible for the preparation of food products accurately and with minimal waste. Duties of this position including learning and applying all IHOP specialized galley terminology, plating, menu items and procedures according to the company standards. IHOP cooks are expected to set up equipment, verify stock, and maintain a clean and sanitary work area. This positions requires you to stand for at least 8 hours during a shift, be able to life at least 50 pounds and have full mobility of hand and arms while repeating tasks.

IHOP cooks are required to preform duties necessary for restaurant operations as assigned by acting manager, following governmental and company policies!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
