Habitat Horticulture designs, installs, and maintains vertical gardens and green infrastructure with an underlying philosophy that seeks to promote the psychological and environmental benefits of plants in urban settings. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Living Wall Installer to join our Bay Area Installation team in helping make our cities a little greener
Job Tasks:
- Help implement the installation of the living wall structure framework, irrigation plumbing systems, and planting.
- Help implement the installation of interior planters, exterior planters, and other products offered.
- Help with the fabrication of products at the Warehouse.
- Operate various mechanical lifts; including scissor lifts, boom lifts, suspended scaffolding, and forklifts.
- Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks.
Requirements:
- You must have a minimum of 2 years (verifiable) experience in finished construction and/or landscape construction.
- Must have proficiency with equipment and power tools used on commercial projects.
- Physical ability to carry a minimum of 60 LBS.
- Positive attitude and ability to take direction.
- You must have reliable transportation, be extremely dependable, and flexible with work hours.
- Available to work between the hours of 6 am - 5 pm. Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the client/project location.
- Ability to work from heights.
- Preferred Certifications: OSHA 30, Aerial Lift Certification, First Aid/CPR.
- Travel out of the area up to 20 % a year.
