Thermach, LLC is a manufacturer of thermal spray equipment. We are located in Appleton, Wisconsin, and are experiencing rapid growth due to our success in the industry. Our company grew its name through a strong customer focus and high-quality systems that set us apart from our competitors.

We are looking to hire a versatile manual machinist with the ability to run multiple machines. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the desire to learn. This role will lead them to become well-versed in the machining field.

Job Duties

• Program, set-up, and run production runs on Mazak Turning Center and/or Mazak
• Manual Machining: set up, run productions, demonstrate short OP times with frequent changeovers
• Brazing and soldering
• Ability to operate manual mills and lathes for secondary operations
• Future job duties may include Mazak CNC training.

Machining Center

• Monitor and inspect finish quality
• Maintain and clean machines
• Follow and enforce safe practices
• Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications

• Completion of a two-year Machine Tool Operator or equivalent experience
• Proficient with measuring tools
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Manual Mills and Lathes
• Lift up to 25 lbs

Desired qualifications

• Mazak Machine operation
• Mazak conversational programming experience – we will train for the right candidate
