Pulaski Health Care Center located in Winamac, Indiana, is seeking a Maintenance Director who will be responsible for providing maintenance services to create a safe, sanitary, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. Supervisory or management experience required. Experience in a commercial maintenance department is preferred, but not required. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identifies and corrects safety hazards
• Participates in regulatory inspections
• Assures that infection control, universal precautions and isolation precautions are practiced when performing maintenance procedures
• Maintain grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the current applicable federal, state and local guidelines and regulations and our facility established policies and procedures. Routing maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, heating and cooling units
• Supervise environmental services personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms in long term care facility
• Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective actions. Implement, write and update policies and procedures as needed
• Purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment
• Administrative requirements; must have good written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational and computer skills.
• Weekdays, PRN, On-Call Weekends
