ABOUT OUR ENGINEER ROLE
Our Engineer supports maintaining a functional, beautiful and safe environment for all guests and team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains the general condition of the property by performing all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and painting work.
- Completes maintenance request work orders from all departments on a timely basis.
- Adheres to timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
- Serves as On Duty Engineer in absence of Chief Engineer
- Assists electrician, carpenter, plumber and painter in all phases of major repair work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to perform basic carpentry skills
- Working knowledge basic electrical and plumbing supplies and equipment
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling and disposal.
- Ability to communicate in English, verbal and written
- Compute mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)
