POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced, energetic, and motivated Marketing Manager for our nonprofit organization.

The Marketing Manager will be an experienced leader with a combination of business acumen, management experience, analytical excellence, collaborative skills, and proven success. This position will be responsible for all marketing deliverables for the organization while overseeing and participating in the execution of marketing services (via outsourced, P/T or FTE’s). You will balance frequently conflicting demands, yet remain focused on the goals of the organization.

This position works under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer with the exercise of independent judgment. Marketing performance and thought leadership is core to our organization's success and you will play a crucial role in planning and achieving our business goals and objectives.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Manager Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee all marketing campaigns for the National Medal of Honor Leadership and Education Center

Oversee the implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives

Develop plans to promote each aspect of the organization as it evolves

Ensure the organization is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective supporters, retain existing ones, and cultivate the leadership and education program participants.

Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including our core committee, programs, and vendors.

Updating senior leadership on the progress of all marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns

DAY TO DAY

Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing programs and services

Collaborate with marketing agencies and media organizations

Brainstorm ideas for new and creative campaigns

Be prepared to manage and coordinate future marketing and creative staff for the organization

Coordinate with the board and board committees to produce and lead the effective execution of collaborative strategies

Monitor current campaigns, ensuring deadlines are met and all tasks are completed

Analyze data to evaluate the success of our marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience working with traditional and emerging marketing channels

Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, content management, branding, distribution, etc.

Excellent communication skills

Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges

Ability to think creatively and innovatively

Budget-management skills and proficiency

Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field

Come from a variety of academic backgrounds, including marketing, communication, and non-profit

Bachelor’s degree

Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:
