Job Description:
Servpro of Crowley is a small franchise, at the moment, and the marketing position will be an integral part of the growth of the franchise. Servpro is a nationwide water and fire cleanup and restoration company, with additional services that include but are not limited to: Bio remediation (including COVID-19 disinfecting), catastrophic storm responses and document drying.

The Marketing position will
not be a "sit behind the desk job". It will be a position involving going out into the community and create new and strengthen existing relationships with potential commercial clients, property managers and owners. The Marketing position will be used to promote and sell Franchise services in an assigned territory, which results in meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals.
Growth and development of our customer base is done by utilizing a systematic process of identifying new
prospects and cultivate relationships by routinely contacting, visiting, and following up with customers. This is done by marketing materials provided by SERVPRO® including the Emergency Ready Plan, flyers and other items to differentiate the SERVPRO® services and the competition.
Compensation will include: Salary, Bonus Pay, Company Vehicle, Assistance with Health Insurance Payments, 10 Paid Holidays per Year and 1 Week Paid Vacation after One Year of Employment. Work will entail some after hours commitments to different marketing clients and organizations.
Qualifications:
2+ years, door-to-door, face-to-face, marketing, or customer service experience, (not tele-marketing or behind the desk marketing) with demonstrated history of sales ability and growth
- Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector
- Successfully complete a background check subject to applicable laws (No Felony’s)
- Have a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Be able to pass a supervised drug test
- Effective oral and written communication
- Superb sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong business and financial background and process-and-results-driven attitude
- Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience
- Ability to meet people in new or difficult situations and build rapport
- Experience with professional sales or marketing associations, a plus
Responsibilities:
Become extremely familiar with the services that SERVPRO can offer potential clients, so they are comfortable with using SERVPRO when needed
- Be in the field educating potential customers about loss potential
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle, setting up closing appointments and maintaining assigned contact lists
- Participating in professional associations, hosting lunch-and-learns, and promoting continuing education (CE) courses
- Complete Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs) and discuss benefits of emergency event preparation
- Conduct objective-to-objective daily marketing contacts
- Build customer relationships and rapport by educating them on the reasons SERVPRO® is the best cleaning and restoration company in the world
- Compile and maintain a center of influence (COI) information data base and identify a “Target 25” (Top 25 contacts to develop into clients)
- Provide and communicate clear and accurate pretesting, scoping of services, and job estimates
- Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs, ensuring customer needs have been met.
- Provide owners and marketing managers with one-on-one meetings (closing appointments), and COIs to encourage SERVPRO® referrals
- Increase marketing territory revenue by consistently achieving sales territory goals
