What you will be doing

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accuracy of new & existing Accounts, Contacts and Supplier records in Salesforce.com, utilizing
reports, industry knowledge and internal resources.
  • Assist with the operational functions of the SGS product promotions team, including billing creation &
tracking; and also the Sourcing team, which may include new supplier and item management.
  • Represent SGS Sourcing team on internal and external projects across distribution business units (i.e., secure
supply chain, CSRA, ThinkLive)
  • Liaise with internal functional groups and cross company business units to ensure SGS Sourcing’s alignment
with internal operational requirements (i.e., Master Data, Secure Supply Chain)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e., SGS) to standardize processes across business units.
  • Provide support services as needed such as meeting planning, agendas and project tracking.
  • Collaborates across internal departments such as Sales & Marketing, Finance, Legal and other Supply Chain
Management entities in order to promote the best interests of AmerisourceBergen.
  • Represents and positions AmerisourceBergen favorably with suppliers and acts as an advocate for
AmerisourceBergen interests relative to suppliers' actions and policies.
  • Provides back up and fully cross trained for other SGS Sourcing Operations activities.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer
sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or
equivalent combination of experience and education; normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly
related experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Some knowledge of product and supplier base, product relationships and pharmaceutical / life sciences industry
trends
2. Good computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of
Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
3. Working knowledge of sales, purchasing, supply chain management and/or inventory management principles
and methodologies
4. Track record of project management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across the organization
and manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment
5. Ability to deal with confrontational issues in a positive manner
6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
7. Strong interpersonal skills
8. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
9. Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices

  • This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
