Meat Cutter
This position works in both the processing and harvesting departments. Work on the harvest floor will involve the following:
- use of a knife and hook to remove the hide from the carcasses,
- trim large pieces of product and/or
- involve the use of powered equipment such as saws
- hot and wet environments with temperature ranges from 33-100 degrees.
Workon the processing floor will involve the following:
- use of a knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of meat to a cut sheet
- a cold environment with temperatures ranging from 33-49 degrees.
Willing to train the right applicant. This position is full time Monday-Friday with most weekends and holidays off. The ideal candidate will arrive at work with knives sharp and ready to work. We slaughter up to twice weekly and process the other three to four days.
This position must be able to push, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds and stand 8-10 hours a day.

Pay: $14.00 - $26.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Meat cutting: 1 year (Preferred)
