Ramos Center is seeking an empathetic Medical Assistant for a full-time position in Bradenton, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch area

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

As a Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we always deliver focused and empathetic patient care. As a true people person, you thrive in this environment as you greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival. You prepare them to see the physician by preparing examination and procedure rooms, obtaining their histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements. You assist the provider in Scribing, Documenting intake, Physical exam, and Plan. You will perform some administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures for patients as well as managing the necessary documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results. While maintaining a calming presence for our patients, you also assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.

Requirements:

· Customer service experience (Preferred)

· Current FL LPN License OR Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (preferred)

· Current CPR Certification-Knowledge of HIPAA-Clinical Experience (preferred)

· Medical Office (a plus)

· Scribing experience (a plus)

· High level of INITIATIVE (a plus)

· Ability to travel to other Ramos Center Locations PRN (will discuss further at interview)

· Bilingual in Spanish (a plus)
