Job Description:
Position: Medical Receptionist/Assistant
Location: Hummelstown, PA 17036
Duration: 3-6 months contract-to-hire position
Client: Direct Client
Description:
We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, caring and enthusiastic medical receptionist/assistant for a full-time position working within our front office.
· The job entails answering phones, computerized messaging and scheduling of appointments, checking patients in and out of the office.
· Completing insurance referrals for specialist appointments and completing authorizations for specialized imaging per insurance criteria to name a few of the job duties.
Requirements:
· Experience preferred 1-5 years working within the medical field.
· Computer experience is necessary as we are fully computerized.
Office hours are:
Monday: 8 AM – 7 PM
Tues, Wed and Thurs: 8 AM – 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM – 2 PM
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Medical Field: 3 years (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 3 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
