We are seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Mold Maker/Designer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating molds for our production line using your expertise in mold making, mold design, solidworks, blueprint reading, and fixtures. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that the molds you create meet the highest quality standards and are optimized for efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and create molds for our production line using your expertise in mold making and mold design
  • Use solidworks to create 3D models and blueprints for the molds you design
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure that the molds you create meet the required specifications
  • Work with our production team to optimize the molds you create for efficiency and productivity
  • Create fixtures to hold the molds in place during the production process
  • Troubleshoot and make adjustments to molds as needed to ensure that they are functioning properly
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols and keeping your work area clean and organized

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in mold making and mold design
  • Proficiency in solidworks and blueprint reading
  • Experience creating fixtures for molds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to molds as needed
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times
