Night Fleet Coordinator (Permanent/Full-Time) Job at Labatt Food Service
Labatt Food Service is now hiring for a Class A CDL Night Fleet Coordinator at the San Antonio location.
Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers.
The Night Fleet Coordinator's responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the fuel island
- Inspecting inbound trailers for damages and flat tires
- Communicating with spotters on trailers that need to be placed out of service or repaired vehicles that are ready to be placed back in service
- Inspecting trailers to make sure the tire PSI system is turned on
- Inspecting tires on trailers that are coming into the fuel island
- Placing equipment in and out of service as needed
- Running a pre-trip on all trailers coming into the yard to prevent a reload
- Develop and maintain relationships within the company, outside vendors, and internal customers
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Class A CDL.
- At least 6 months experience on a tractor trailer
- Excellent organizational and management skills required
- General computer knowledge
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Fleet-related business experience preferred
The schedule is Sunday - Thursday, from 7:00 pm to 3:30 am.
